Up to $30.36/hr
Responsibilities
- Build and prepare equipment racks, including rails, PDUs, cable management, and labeling.
- Rack and stack servers, storage, and network equipment.
- Install and route copper and fiber structured cabling.
- Connect A/B power feeds and assist with airflow and cooling installations.
- Follow installation drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform basic quality checks and report installation issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of data center environments or IT hardware.
- Experience with structured cabling, rack and stack, or low-voltage installations preferred.
- Ability to read and follow installation documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Able to lift equipment, work in rack spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Preferred Experience
- Copper and fiber cabling.
- Data center, telecommunications, or low-voltage installation experience.
- Familiarity with rack infrastructure, power distribution, or cooling systems is a plus.
