Sr Backend Golang Engineer

A highly respected, privately held software company that has quietly become a leader in desktop virtualization and digital workspace infrastructure is hiring for a Senior Golang Engineer. This team builds complex platforms that help enterprise organizations manage and optimize virtual desktop environments across VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft ecosystems. Engineers here work on technically challenging problems that directly impact large-scale enterprise IT operations — without the chaos and turnover common in startups. The engineering culture is stable, collaborative, and deeply experienced, with an average tenure of roughly eight years and leadership that has built successful teams together for decades. A successful candidate is a backend-focused engineer with strong Golang experience who enjoys working on performance-driven infrastructure platforms and complex data-driven systems. You’re comfortable owning features end-to-end, writing clean SQL, and contributing across the development lifecycle — including some DevOps and operational responsibilities. You likely have experience modernizing or scaling backend services, working with distributed systems, or building observability or analytics-heavy products. • BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 5+ years of professional Golang experience
• 5+ years of professional SQL experience (linked or nested queries, indexes)
• DevOps experience

Desired Skills & Experience

• Prior Java experience is a plus
• UI experience is a bonus
