This is a 6-month onsite contract opportunity for a RAN Engineer working directly in a customer lab environment within the United States. The role supports advanced telecommunications testing and automation, focusing on 4G/5G network technologies and automated validation frameworks. Candidates will work hands-on with cutting-edge wireless systems while contributing to the quality and reliability of large-scale telecom products and services.

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Required Skills & Experience

· Experience working onsite in a customer lab environment
· Prior AT&T experience preferred
· Strong experience with Robot Framework for test automation
· Strong Python programming skills
· Experience with Perl scripting
· Solid understanding of telecom technologies (5G, LTE, IP networking)
· Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to document test cases, frameworks, and processes clearly

Desired Skills & Experience

· Experience with additional scripting or programming languages (Bash, Java, Go)
· Experience with performance, security, or reliability test automation
· Experience with 4G/5G UE log analysis
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development environments

What You Will Be Doing

You will design, develop, and execute automated test cases to validate telecom products and network functionality. This role involves enhancing automation frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting test failures, and collaborating closely with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.

· 40% Automated Test Case Development (Robot Framework, Python)

Daily Responsibilities

· 75% Hands-On Automation & Test Execution

Additional Notes:
· Candidate is required to work onsite in a customer lab
· Supplier is responsible for the cost to return company-issued laptop and materials at the end of the assignment
