Provisioning Technician – Service Delivery Team | Houston, TX (Hybrid) | Full-Time
Join Logix Fiber Networks, a leading provider of fiber-based voice and data solutions across Texas, supporting enterprise customers through a highly interconnected and rapidly evolving network. This role sits on the Service Delivery team, focused on provisioning and configuring Layer 2 and emerging Layer 3 services across a complex multi-city network (Dallas, Houston, Austin). You’ll work heavily in CLI environments, provisioning across technologies including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and SD-WAN using equipment from Cisco, Ciena, and Brocade—with Juniper being introduced soon. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Houston, with in-office days on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly specialized provisioning role where you’re trusted to operate independently and make real impact from day one. The team is intentionally small and experienced, and they’re looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective and grow with the business as the network evolves into more advanced Layer 3 services. If you enjoy working deep in the command line, solving complex routing challenges, and being “the person” who gets services turned up and working seamlessly, this is your chance to build toward engineering-level roles. Logix is known for promoting from within—this role is a true launchpad into IP Engineering or technical leadership.

Required Skills & Experience
· Strong hands-on experience working in CLI environments (command line heavy role)
· Experience with Layer 2 provisioning (Ethernet, switching, VLANs)
· Solid understanding of Layer 3 networking concepts
· Experience with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
· Familiarity with MPLS and/or SD-WAN technologies
· Experience working with network equipment such as Cisco, Ciena, or Brocade
· Ability to manage multiple provisioning tasks in a high-volume environment
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Desired Skills & Experience
· Experience with Juniper networking equipment (or willingness to learn)
· Background in telecom or service provider environments
· Experience provisioning across complex, multi-network infrastructures
· Exposure to wave, ethernet provisioning, or switch augmentations
· Strong understanding of network design and service delivery workflows

? Compensation:
$58,000 – $70,000 (flexible for the right candidate)
