Job Description
Our Client is seeking an experienced Integration / Validation Engineer for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX, supporting advanced Private 5G, 4G/LTE, 5G NR, RAN, 5G Core, cloud, and enterprise networking technologies. The role focuses on end-to-end system integration, validation, test automation, troubleshooting, performance testing, and deployment of telecom and Private 5G solutions across enterprise and industrial environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants hands-on exposure to Private 5G (EP5G) solutions and complex enterprise telecom deployments. The ideal candidate will bring strong 4G/5G networking, system integration, troubleshooting, and Python/Shell test automation experience. You will work across RAN, Core, cloud-based management platforms, connected devices, and enterprise IT/OT applications while collaborating with architects, network engineers, security teams, operations, project managers, and customers. The position provides an opportunity to deepen expertise in Private 5G, industrial IoT, automation, network performance, and end-to-end telecom solutions.
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Required Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of 4G/LTE, 5G NR, RAN, and 5G Core fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with system integration, integration testing, regression testing, system testing, and performance testing.
• Strong experience with test automation and scripting using Python and/or Shell.
• Experience developing automated test cases, test suites, and test frameworks.
• Experience performing end-to-end network integration and validation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills using logs, alarms, traces, diagnostic tools, and network data.
• Understanding of APN/DNN, QoS, mobility, latency, throughput, network segmentation, and connectivity.
• Experience with enterprise networks, security zones, cloud environments, and IT/OT integrations.
• Experience validating connected network devices such as routers, scanners, industrial sensors, tablets, or similar devices.
• Ability to develop test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, test reports, and integration documentation.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Experience with Private 5G / Private LTE / Enterprise 5G environments.
• Experience with Client telecom/networking solutions.
• Experience with Client Private 5G / EP5G solutions.
• Experience with network management and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test frameworks.
• Experience supporting SIT, integration testing, acceptance testing, stabilization, early-life support, or production deployments.
• Experience with manufacturing, smart factories, logistics, warehouses, mining, airports, ports, or industrial IoT environments.
• Experience with AGVs, AMRs, autonomous vehicles, or mission-critical enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of network security, authentication, encryption, segmentation, and zero-trust principles.
• Experience with network redundancy, failover, recovery, high availability, and resiliency testing.

Daily Responsibilities

• 35% Hands On – Configure, integrate, test, validate, troubleshoot, and upgrade telecom and Private 5G network components.
• 25% Test Automation – Develop and maintain Python/Shell scripts, automated test cases, regression suites, and test frameworks.
• 20% System Integration & Validation – Perform end-to-end validation across RAN, Core, management platforms, devices, and enterprise applications.
• 10% Troubleshooting & Documentation – Analyze logs, alarms, traces, and test results; prepare test reports, test evidence, MoPs, and integration documentation.
• 10% Team Collaboration – Work with Solution Architects, Network Engineers, Project Managers, Operations, Security teams, and customer engineering teams.
