Build your hands-on electronics experience in a role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and testing digital video recording systems, electronic assemblies, and related equipment. As an Electronic Technician I, you’ll troubleshoot products down to the assembly and sub-assembly level while using schematics, diagnostic tools, and established repair procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues.

This opportunity is a great starting point for a recent technical school graduate, military electronics trainee, or early-career technician who enjoys figuring out how things work. You’ll gain practical experience with digital and analog electronics, test equipment, quality procedures, and production operations while working closely with engineering and operations teams to keep repairs accurate and moving forward.

Required Skills & Experience

· 0–3 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting, repair, manufacturing, testing, or diagnostics

· Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics

· Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation

· Familiarity with electronic components, printed circuit boards, microcontrollers, memory devices, and low-voltage circuits

· Experience using digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, or other electronic test equipment

· Associate degree, technical degree, trade school certification, military electronics training, or equivalent hands-on experience

Desired Skills & Experience

· Experience repairing or testing electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies

· Familiarity with programmable logic devices such as FPGAs

· Experience as an Electronics Technician, Repair Technician, Test Technician, Bench Technician, or Service Technician

· Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addresses and MAC addresses

· Experience using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet tools

· Familiarity with ESD procedures, production quality standards, or continuous improvement practices

What You Will Be Doing

· Diagnose, test, and troubleshoot electronic products, systems, and assemblies

· Isolate faults and identify the root causes of equipment failures

· Use schematics, work instructions, engineering drawings, and diagnostic procedures to complete repairs

· Perform functional testing and verify repaired products meet quality requirements

· Document findings and communicate technical issues to engineering and operations teams

· Follow ESD, safety, quality, production, and documentation standards

Tech Breakdown

· 30% Electronic Troubleshooting and Fault Isolation

· 25% Assembly, Sub-Assembly, and Product Testing

· 20% Diagnostic Equipment and Technical Documentation

· 15% Repair Verification and Quality Procedures

· 10% Reporting, Computer Applications, and Continuous Improvement

Daily Responsibilities

· Troubleshoot electronic products and identify equipment failures

· Test circuit boards, assemblies, and related components

· Use digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment

· Review schematics, wiring diagrams, and repair instructions

· Document test results, repair findings, and recurring issues

· Coordinate with engineering and operations teams on technical problems
