This full time Director of Programs supporting government, defense, and commercial customers. The company delivers mission critical program execution, deployment, and project management services, requiring strong leadership across cost, schedule, and performance. This role oversees core programs from planning through execution, ensuring compliance, technical accuracy, and alignment with customer mission objectives.
This is a high impact leadership role where you’ll shape the entire program management structure of a growing organization. You’ll build and mentor a team of Deployment Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators while driving best practice program execution. The #1 feature of this opportunity is the ability to influence organizational standards, improve processes, and lead complex programs that directly support government and prime contractor missions. Required Skills & Experience 8–10 years of progressive program or project management experience Demonstrated experience overseeing concurrent programs Experience leading cross functional teams, including field and site level personnel Experience performing as both subcontractor and prime contractor Experience supporting defense, government, and commercial contracts Ability to obtain security clearance (if required) Desired Skills & Experience
- Four year degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or related field
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Experience developing SOPs and program management structures
- Experience navigating demanding partner relationships
- Leadership presence with ability to balance direct action vs. empowering managers
- Ability to work extra hours or weekends if required

Daily Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership, planning, and oversight for organizational programs
- Develop Program Management Structures and Standard Operating Procedures
- Supervise Deployment Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators
- Set program goals, timelines, and budgets
- Monitor performance, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Identify risks and develop solutions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contract requirements
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Review and approve program documentation and deliverables
- Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Communicate program status to executive leadership
- Represent the organization professionally in meetings and correspondence
- Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to program teams
- Prepare and deliver program status reports
- Track budgets, schedules, KPIs, and reporting requirements
