Join a hands-on data center installation team supporting a large-scale infrastructure deployment. This is a physical, field-based role focused heavily on structured cabling, equipment installation, and repeatable deployment activities.
This is a strong opportunity for candidates with structured cabling, low-voltage, telecom, construction, data center, or similar hands-on installation experience who want to build their experience in a data center environment.
This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a large-scale data center environment while working alongside an experienced installation team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant hands-on experience preferred
- Experience pulling and running cable in structured environments
- Experience with low-voltage cabling, telecommunications, data centers, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics
- Basic Layer 1 knowledge of fiber and cabling
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and SOPs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation, ticketing, and inventory systems
- Willingness to learn and follow established processes
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 35 lbs. repeatedly
- Ability to work on ladders and in physically demanding environments
- Must provide composite-toe, over-the-ankle leather work boots

What You Will Be Doing
- Pull and route structured cabling throughout the data center
- Perform cable installation and other standardized deployment activities
- Assist with rack, equipment, and component installation
- Position and maneuver racks, carts, equipment, and materials
- Perform labeling and inventory-related tasks
- Follow installation drawings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Work safely on ladders and in elevated, cramped, and noisy environments
- Push, pull, lift, and maneuver equipment as part of a team
- Complete documentation, ticketing, and inventory activities
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity

Daily Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on cable installation and routing
- Work on ladders and in physically demanding areas

- Communicate with team members and supervisors
- Maintain quality and productivity standards
- Adapt to changing priorities and project requirements
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding installation position. Candidates must be comfortable with:
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Climbing and working from ladders
- Working in elevated, cramped, and noisy environments
- Working in varying temperatures
- Lifting up to 35 lbs. individually
- Handling heavier equipment as part of a team
- Wearing required PPE
