We're searching for a Data Center Field Engineer (L2) for a contract opportunity based in the United States. Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months Required Skills & Experience
· Minimum 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise data center infrastructure deployments, systems integration, or infrastructure engineering · Strong understanding of server, storage, networking, and rack infrastructure architecture
· Experience analyzing and validating structured cabling (fiber and copper)
· Skilled in using fiber testing and diagnostic tools, including Fluke equipment
· Knowledge of power distribution architecture, redundancy models, and rack-level design
· Familiarity with advanced cooling methodologies (DX airflow, direct-to-chip liquid cooling)
· Operating system deployment, imaging, firmware management, and infrastructure validation experience
· Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, MOPs, and deployment documentation
· Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and infrastructure problem-solving skills
· Experience with deployment automation, scripting, or management tools
· Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts, infrastructure monitoring, and integration
· Experience with large-scale deployment projects in colocation or hyperscale data centers
· Ability to independently prioritize technical issues and recommend optimization strategies Desired Skills & Experience
