Construction Specialist II

This is a contract opportunity located in Berlin, CT, supporting large-scale telecommunications construction and network deployment projects in a fast-paced infrastructure environment. This position focuses on supporting field construction, job tracking systems, and project coordination related to network buildouts, upgrades, and connectivity platform installations. This is a contract role running through the end of 2026, offering a mix of field and office work while supporting ongoing network expansion and construction operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the field while still involved in the technical and coordination side of projects. The team is looking for someone who can help keep construction work moving by supporting job documentation, tracking work in internal systems, reviewing invoices, and coordinating with field crews and leadership. This role offers strong exposure to telecom construction operations, project coordination, and network deployment processes, making it a great fit for someone who wants to grow further in telecom, construction management, or network infrastructure while working with a collaborative team that values communication, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Required Skills & Experience· Telecom or construction project support experience
· Experience working with field crews, contractors, or construction teams
· Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Adobe, MS Office)
· Experience tracking projects, invoices, or job documentation
· Ability to work both in the field and in the office
· Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
· Comfortable working variable schedules, including overtime if needed
· Ability to maintain logs, reports, and project records
· Understanding of construction safety standards and job site procedures
· Willingness to learn internal systems and processes
· Telecom construction or network deployment experience
· Experience with Polaris, P2, JT, or similar job tracking systems
· Experience reviewing invoices or release lists
· Experience supporting fiber, coax, or underground/overhead construction
· Smartsheet experience
· Experience working with maps, prints, or job documentation
· Experience coordinating multiple projects at once
Supporting construction and network deployment projects by coordinating field work, updating job tracking systems, reviewing project documentation, and working with contractors, technicians, and leadership to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
